This midcentury inspired kitchen design was a collaboration between Raedwood and the very creative Bellingham homeowners Aaron Cooke and Erin Lynch.
Mix of natural (marble & walnut veneer) and synthetic materials (Fenix NTM).
Touch-to-open fronts combined with undercabinet/top reveal handle recess (CRP, continous recessed pull). The CRP details chases around all sides of the island featuring a 12mm Carrara marble top.
Traditional proportions meet modern living in this 42-acre Napa Valley estimate, designed by Nick Noyes Architecture. Notable details include grooved slab fronts with leather and brass hardware mounted into tall storage sections. In the kitchen, along the refrigeration wall, the cabinets, wall panels and pivot door are painted Pacific Fog to match the signature appliance package from Heston.
With a straightforward design and a competent layout, this kitchen cuts to the chase with a limited material palette. The focus is on the function and everyday living- walnut, stone and stainless steel.
Balance and asymmetry cloaked in rich material texture and captured in dancing natural light, this brilliant design by Gina Sicilliano is timeless. Plank-match walnut, cold rolled steel, quartz and Formica represent a range of the natural and manmade all rolled up into a resolved and grounded composition.
This Scandi-inspired oak-obsessed kitchen marks yet another successful homeowner design collaboration. To keep surfaces unfussed, touch-to-open hardware was employed. Keeping things practical, clean black decorative hardware was used for refrigeration, pantry and appliance garage openings. The Raedwood design philosophy is contextual. Considerations for mixed applications or hybrid solutions often yield the most useful results- both visually appealing and most importantly functional on a daily basis for the end user.
